Chromite sand quality control process
Chromite sand for casting comes from natural chrome ore. The manufacturer should produce chrome ore blocks to chromite sand or powder with specific AFS fineness. In the meantime, our QC team must conduct quality control throughout the production process. We adopt strict quality control standards to ensure the good quality and particle distribution of chromite ore for casting.
- Check the chemical composition of chromite ore imported from South Africa.
- Check the cleanliness during the washing process. This inspection is carried out after drying.
- Check the particle size distribution during screening. Each team will conduct testing.
- Check all indicators before packaging. These indicators are chemical composition, turbidity, PH value, particle size distribution, etc.
- Random inspection before shipment. Especially for fineness inspection, our quality inspectors take samples from 5 positions in the bag. Then mix them as test samples.
All these quality inspection processes ensure that the chromium ore provided to customers is of high quality and reliability. This is also the reason why many customers have long-term cooperation with us.
