High thermal conductivity chromite sand AFS45-50 is a foundry-grade chromite sand. With a high Cr2O3 content of more than 46% and SiO2 of less than 1%, the chromite sand works excellent as core sand, molding sand, shape sand, and facing sand for casting. The chromite sand from Haixu Abrasives gets high thermal and chill performance after water washing and magnetic removal in our factory in China. The low Silica and mud impurities make sure the chromite sand can improve sand sticking. It can improve the surface quality of casting. Chromite sand is particularly suitable for large steel & iron castings. The excellent thermal conductivity can transfer the heat out quickly. Thus it can avoid porous in the castings.
